Prestressed cable widely used in rock and soil reinforcement,is an active reinforcement structure,can enhance the stability of rock and soil. Under earthquake loading, its own seismic features and security and protective effect on the slope, attracted more and more concerned from the engineering.This paper used the methods of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation ,research and study how the axial force of cablel changes,the shear stress of grout change,the normal stress of rock change under earthquake.By numerical simulation,this paper analysis the mechanism of prestressed cable, mainly about: the different between the axial force of cablel,the shear stress of grout,the normal stress of rock under different rock,grout parameters.The axial force of cablel,displacement between strand and mortar,the shear stress of grout change,the normal stress of rock were monitor by the method of numerical simulation under different levels but same time seismic intensity,study their trends and possible destroy modes,provide theoretical basis for how to improve the prestressed cables under the seismic loads.Proposed three types of tension- centralized-type damage by analyzing , grouting damage by strength inadequate, strand yield,damage of anchor head.Comprehensive analysis the seismic performance of the cable can know that, free section the seismic performance good, but see from anchorage system, compared with pressure concentrated anchor,its poor seismic performance determine its careful use.
