With the development of the transportation in our Country, the spans of the bridges are continuously increasing. Concrete bridges such as arch bridges, suspension bridges and cable-stayed bridges are developed rapidly. However, some problems were occurred not long after the completion of the bridges or before the useful life. The problems include serious damage, cracking, pot holes, embrace and slippage of the bridge pavement which affect the comfort of the bridge traffic seriously. At the same time, these early damage will make the surface water infiltrating into the bridge deck panel, leading to different structural damage such as debonding of the pavement, the freeze-thaw damage of the bridge deck and the steel bar corrosion, which affect the safety and service life of bridge seriously.This thesis is based on the item "The study of the combination beam bridge deck pavement technique based on waterproof-bond-stress absorbing layer." In allusion to the ubiquitous problems in the process of deck pavement such as bridge reflection crack, disarticulation at the interface of bridge deck and damage on freezing and thawing concrete panel, systematical investigations were carried out on relationship between structure of concrete deck pavement and materials. The results are as below:By ANSYS finite element analysis, influence of thickness of deck pavement and stress-absorbing layer and modulus of absorbing layer on the major principal stress, equivalent stress, shear stress and deflection was studied. A bridge deck pavement project including waterproof, bond and stress absorbing was proposed. Through mechanical calculation and compared to common double-layered SMA-13 paving structure, major principal stress of bottom paving layer can be reduced by 64.28%, equivalent stress by 40.96% and ultimate shear stress by 33.82%. So, it has good ability to avoid reflection crack.Adopting high-viscosity and high-flexibility modified asphalt and high-strength basalt as raw material, influence of thickness of different tress-absorbing layers and quantity of asphalt and gravely during spraying and paving on the performances of interface bond, resistance to groove and weary and water proof was investigated. The production of materials of waterproof and bondstress-absorbing layer was completed. Pull strength between the materials and concrete bridge deck was 0.67MPa, shear strength was 1.35MPa, full-depth groove was 5850 times per mm, times during damage of bending fatigue was 31500, times during damage of shear fatigue was 35500 and it was not exudative when water pressure was under 0.3MPa. It has pretty good functional ability and structural operational performance.Systematic investigations on construction technology of waterproof and bondstress-absorbing deck paving materials such as production, paving and laminating were carried out. Construction technology of deck paving was carried out. Research findings were applied to Dong Jiang Bridge. Pullout strength was 0.69MPa, shear strength was 1.37MPa, dynamic stability was 5920 times per minute. In total, it is new deck-paving technology with good promotional value.
