Oscilloscope is an important tool for debugging circuit, oscilloscope affect accuracy on test data of circuit. In the process of analyzing circuit, besides oscilloscope bandwidth, sampling rate and storage depth, a more important indexes which is the waveform capture rate that directly relates to whether captures the occasional error signal, however this index is shortcoming of digital storage oscilloscope.This system is based on single chip structure with FPGA, the whole system run on parallel processing; enhance the overall performance of oscilloscope. Multiple processors in one FPGA that reduce the complexity of the design of the system and also improve the stability. The FPGA programmable make the design of multiple processors is feasible. First use the double processors to alternating sample signal, which could collect more data and reduce loss probability of wave as far as possible. In the second part that directly use special waveform display processor, including waveform mapping processor and displaying controller. These increase the refresh rate of LCD equivalently. Collecting the wave together improve waveform refresh rate of the oscilloscope, and enhances the ability to capture the occasional signal.The core processor using NIOSâ…¡soft processor, give play to the performance of FPGA, the core processor of FPGA accept operation panel information and feedback them to all other processor units and makes each process unit work sequential. The NIOSâ…¡processor constructed a SOPC system, data processing module and calculation module can be designed as IP core loading to the processor, controlled by core processor unified. In order to increase the oscilloscope function, can be increase IP core to the processor, which makes the oscilloscope is flexible.In this system, we use SD card to save the data of collecting wave, and move the data to the PC for analyzing, this SD card IP core is connected to the processor of Avalon, through the processor bus control and operation SD card.The DSP module of oscilloscope using DSP Builder to modeling and invoke the QUARTUSâ…¡to transform it to logic circuit. DSP Builder not only can build module of DSP, but also test the accuracy of module through simulating it.This system has a high grade of flexibility, the CPU and memory within the FPGA can be modified to fit the different needs. The programmable of FPGA makes upgrade of oscilloscope much easier. Can add function modules without change peripheral circuit.
