The CFST arch bridge gets the substantial development in our country highway and city bridge,because of its light deadweight,highintensity and advantage with strong ability of resisting shape. The construction of CFST arch bridge with long span is divided into many working procedures,which are completed step by step. The rigorous control of construction is the guarantee of achieveing design objective of the CFST arch bridge. Taking North Gulf Bridge in Shanxi as an instance, many problems on construction control technique for CFST bridge are discussd in this paper, including:web plate stress during pouring concrete and the effection of tower displacement for line shape of arch.According to research rusults recently, almost all forecast calculation object is cable-arch structure, the coupling effect of tower and arch is not considered. The quality security problem is affected by ignoring the coupling effect. In this paper, the tower-arch full finite element model was established to analyze the relations between tower displacement and hoisting system. Calculation results show that forecast linearis have deviation because of tower displacement, at the same time the tower stress will increase and stability of tower will decrease.The dumbbell-shaped concrete filled steel tube arch bridge wound occur crack accident on the joint of steel tube and steel webs during concrete pumping stage. Inview of this situation, the spatial finite element models were established. Different construction order and cases are considered and the analyzation are according to elasticity and elastoplasticity of steel. Calculation results show that the great stress will take place in the connection points of steel webs and the steel tubes. The filling order of the concrete will influence the stresses in the cross-sections. The order that the two tubes are filled with concrete at first and then the webs space is the most reasonable. The bar stress is quite large and it should be controlled by the way that adjusting diameter and distance of bars. Moreover, the effection of weleding residual stress was analysised. The nonliner behavior of steel was taken into account in analysis. It was suggested that weleding residual stress wound largely decrease load capacity of structure.
