In order to minimize the loss of the load, which caused by a fault of power distribution line, the power supply recovery program should be obtained as soon as possible. This paper research on service restoration and related issues after distribution network line failure. Present a model of two-layer-tree structure to describe the topology of distribution network, the structure knowledge of the distribution network is described by frame representation. And the use of intelligent search technology to achieve the network topology analysis. A new method of service restoration based on non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-â…¡) is proposed, It overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional genetic algorithm which could set only one objective function or integrate multi-objective function into one. So it can take full account of operational status and the needs of power distribution system for restore function to set multiple objective function. And more reasonable recovery program can be obtained. Finally the algorithm is implemented by C and MATLAB, The experimental results are very positive.
