Spatial structure has both the wonderful building space results and excellent mechanical properties;space truss and shell structure are one of the most extensive and earliest in our country in spatial structure.Space truss structure is increasingly diverse and complex,appearing a slope space truss structure in different elevation oblique;As the span of latticed shell structures will increase,and leading to the weight increase caused by the increase from roof. The common and most important problems in the course of structural design are that the upper spatial structure will make immense horizontal force so that the sub-structure can't resist it and at a serious disadvantage. In particular, the most cities in our country are in earthquake region, so in space truss and shell structure the problem of seismic and reducing-vibration becomes more prominent.The most important in the practical engineering is to find a reasonable bearings to resolve these issues,while the rubber plate-supports bearings to meet the requirements of these features.Therefore,it has important theoretical and practical value to research the seismic performance of rubber plate-supports bearing. So,This article has mainly carried on the work as follows:(1)In this paper, take the actual project—Qing Yang Stadium as the background. The calculation model of the rubber plate-supports bearing is established using the finite element analysis software ANSYS10.0,and the design parameters that will affect the performance of the rubber plate-supports bearing are analysised.The flat plate size, the rubber layer of the total thickness,the size of the vertical pressure and the thickness of laminated steel sheet,these four design parameters with the changes from horizontal force are calculated.The mechanics performance on the bearing, the horizontal stiffness and vertical stiffness are analysised and compared in detail. Through analysised and researched, the characteristics of horizontal stiffness and vertical stiffness of the rubber plate-supports bearing are attained, and mechanical properties and seismic performance are also gained, which the researched outcomes have greatly theoretical and practical value.(2)Secondly, to reduce the costs of the rubber plate-supports bearing adopting to appropriately decrease the plane size,is urgent to solve the problem in the spread and application process on this new seismic system.but subsequent to the stability of the rubber plate-supports bearing becomes more markedly. Therefore,in this paper, the rubber plate-supports bearing in practical engineering is simulated,and an bar stability model though idealized the bearing is set up,accordingly the theoretical formula is derived,and various affecting factors of the bearing stability are investigated. Meanwhile,the horizontal force from the upper spatial structure to the supporting sub-structure influenced by the rubber plate-supports bearing is solved.(3)Finally, the durability of the rubber plate-supports bearing is mainly concerned and the additional moment problem of the rubber plate-supports bearing is analysed.At first the impact factors to the durability of the rubber bearing are issued, and countermeasures are proposed.Then the additional moment problem and research of the rubber bearings are introduced,at last the construction measures and other issues of the rubber plate-supports bearing are discussed.
