By now more and more long span bridges are constructed, the study of vehicle aerodynamic coefficients become more urgent and necessary. In this paper, based on Xiangshangang Bridge and four typical forms of vehicles:Baker trailer, Mann truck, a double-decker bus, cars, we did numerical simulation in Fluent. The following researches will be achieved in this dissertation:1, Based on Xiangshangang Bridge, numerical simulation were performed for vehicle on four roadways. Through the simulation, the changes of vehicles'aerodynamic coefficients for four roadways were obtained.2, The vehicle aerodynamic coefficients on the ground and on the bridge were compared under different wind angles.3, traffic safety for four typical vehicles on the bridge and on the ground were preliminarily researched and analyzed. It was focused on the influences of average wind for traffic safety.4, The bridge aerodynamic coefficients would be changed as the result of vehicles which would disturb the flow. The effect of vehicle for bridge aerodynamic coefficients were preliminarily studied.The main conclusions of the article include:1, There was a interaction between the vehicles and the bridge when the vehicles traveled on the bridge, which would have a significant impact on the traffic safety.2,Safety criterions was established, traffic safety for typical vehicles on the ground and on the bridge was preliminarily studied by the vehicle aerodynamic coefficients.
