In this paper, control strategies on the nonlinear characteristics of automatic generation control systemare are studied. Generation rate constraint and governor dead-band nonlinear problems are analyzed and modeled. Generalized predictive control is applied to the AGC system with GRC, well soluting the constraint. The governor dead-band non-linearity is converted to linear part and establishes its linear model. Finally, Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage is used in the AGC system considering the governor deadband. Using CPS optimizing fuzzy neural network to control the system. The scheme is compared with fuzzy-PI controller, and the comparison study indicates that the proposed method reduces the non-linear factors impacting on the power system and ensures the system meets the CPS performance standards.
