Power quality comprehensive assessment is of great significance in modern power systems. Based on power quality indicators, standards and weight optimization methods, a variety of comprehensive assessment methods is introduced to the power quality comprehensive assessment in this paper, including four kinds of evaluation methods based on variable weights theory, interval approximation method, matter-element analysis based on cloud model, radar chart method, cooperative game analysis, etc. These methods are innovative, practical, and effective, and have opened up new ideas for power quality comprehensive assessment. Case studies show that the comprehensive assessment methods are of great significance in improving accuracy, simplifying evaluation process and enhancing practical value. They may be applied in energy pricing mechanism innovation of electricity market, improving power quality comprehensive assessment system and energy trading platform construction, etc.
