With the rapid development of society as well as information technology which is thecore of high-tech, the rate of the information flow and the material flow have greatlyimproved than the operation modes of transport long before, which take higherrequirements for protecting the military vehicles in the future war-time. To satisfy therequirements, the traditional means of manual dispatching methods have been far awayfrom the modern warfare. Therefore, it is the trend to build modern military vehicletransportation and positioning system based on military vehicle positioning and navigation. In the intelligent positioning and monitoring system, we use a lot of information technology, communication technology, computer technology and automatic identification technology,to realize the whole army military vehicle positioning and monitoring as soon as possible. Moreover, through the monitoring of military vehicles real-timely we can change theobjective situation on the car quickly. So we can quickly change our transport plans andattack plans to avoid the blindness of plans when we on the battlefield. Currently, most ofthe military vehicle positioning and monitoring systems are based on GPS positioningsystem. In order to send and receive the system information, the system needs wirelesscommunication networks. GSM networks are generally used. Because the GPS system doesnot have the capabilities of digital communications, and the GSM wireless networks oftenhave blind spots. In addition, the US military has strictly control of the GPS technology. Itlooks that when we are in warfare time in the future, the US military will not support theGPS users in China. Ones we can not use the GPS signals, we will in a verydisadvantageous position in the war time. Therefore, in this article, we use BeidouPositioning and monitoring system which is created and made by China. The Beidousystem has much advantage which has the actual meaning in the future, the advantages arenot supported in other positioning systems.Beidou satellite positioning system was developed by China's own satellitepositioning navigation system used in the military with respect, compared to other satellitepositioning system has very important significance. In wartime, the Beidou system canreadily provide an important location for military information and command informationissued. Monitoring of the system can also provide mapping, path mapping and other humanfeatures. Beidou satellite system has to have a relatively wide range of applications, therelative military applications have accumulated a lot of actual combat experience. Throughthe analysis of system components, the authors from the system's overall architecture, software-level design, and software code and other aspects of the preparation to start withthe system carried out a detailed design and implementation. Equipment design for thevehicle, the author from the hardware design and software-level design of two fronts of thedetail, and knowledge among the important point related to a detailed description. In thedesign of control centers, there are several technical problems. The article includes databasedesign, front software design, map design and the processing module. In order to preservereal-time location information the databases is designed. And In order to support a detaileddata of the vehicles the system supplies a detailed database. Map processing includes thedisplay of layers, track point on the map display and so on. These are intended to give theuser a clear interface, user-friendly real-time analysis and control. Front desk software is toprovide users with a variety of personalized features, to meet the diverse needs of users.Foreground task of the software is very simple, is to provide the user interface and databaseexists. Through the system design and the architecture design and the detailed design, thesystem finally meets the requirements of the Beidou Positioning system. And the systemdesigned by the author also supplies much more functions to satisfy the users of the militaryvehicle positioning system. The main research of this paper is as follows:The first chapter is the Introduction. In the introduction section the author introducesthe background of the research, and gives a brief introduce of the military vehiclepositioning and navigation. Then a more detailed description of the military vehiclepositioning and monitoring system is carried out. After the brief introduce, the authoranalysis the military vehicle positioning and monitoring of the problems. Through the basiclearning of the system, the author has the overall concepts of the positioning system.Chapter II introduces the system architecture required in positioning systems andwireless networks of existing programs exist in the program. And the author gives out thebrief introduction to every appropriate for the topic. Following the introduction of wirelessnetworks, we give a brief introduction. Finally, the author gives a more detailed comparisonon the Beidou satellite positioning systems and GPS positioning system in Chapter III.Through the actual comparison of the positioning system, the author understands theadvantages and disadvantages of the positioning system, and the author believes that theinformation will has great helpful in the future design.Chapter III the author carries out a detailed introduction of the GPS positioningprogram and Beidou satellite positioning program. Aimed at the configuration of the system, the author has a compare between the location theory and their respective advantages anddisadvantages. Taking into account the requirements of the subject, the amount of fundingfor the system to achieve the objective difficulty of a variety of factors, the author choosesto develop China's own Beidou satellite positioning system as the final choice of this topic. The biggest advantage of Beidou satellite positioning system to other positioning systems isthe independent property rights. Especially for military vehicles to monitor, that is a real combat with more meaning. The fourth chapter describes in detail the system implementation process. The authordescribes the system architecture and the software levels. As well as the detailed design ofvehicle control terminals, including hardware and software implementation of carrier flowdesign. In the monitoring center, it also made a detailed hardware platform design andsoftware process design. This chapter is also the core of the system, almost all of the detailsof the work is done here. System design process of many aspects of professional knowledge, implementation of the system is in the process learned a lot of knowledge, to make theauthor feel a lot of benefit.Chapter V of the paper gives a simple summary of the prior work, then gives a verygood future prospects of the system. Although the Beidou system still exists someshortcomings, but in the next decade or even two decades, the Beidou satellite positioningsystem will be more rapid progress, and to exist in the current system to correct all thedisadvantages of the system. The upgrade will also bring more features and applications.
