Research On Constructing The Regional Central City Of Yulin In The Border Area Of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Inner Mongolia And Shanxi Province

The regional central city plays a leading role of economic and social development in a certain geographical area. Yulin who locates in the border area of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Inner Mongolia and Shanxi provinces will become a central city in the condition that it gives full play to radiation and seize the opportunity to achieve across-domain. In this paper, urban geography, regional economic theories are applied to analysis the industrial development and construction characteristic of Yulin, interpret the strengths and weakness of its construction. The space division of Yulin area of radiation effects, combined with regional industrial development, urban construction features, to point out some strategies of constructing Yulin as a regional central city. I hope this paper can provide reference for Yulin to build the regional center of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Inner Mongolia and Shanxi.Through the research, the conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) The possibility of Yulin becoming a larger central regional city in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Inner Mongolia and Shanxi is relatively big, which needs further clarify the division of the Yulin area in the region competing relationship status, clear the city's development goals and strengthen the dominant industry; (2) In the history, Yulin was once the center of military, trade and cultural in frontier region. In recent years, promoted by the international energy demand and national energy development policy, Yulin's economic and social are develop rapidly, but the situation of the week economic strength, underdeveloped infrastructure and low level of openness must be changed; (3) The part of the north and the south administrative regions are not classified as The extent of radiation of Yulin, this regions become confliction areas between Yulin and surrounding cities. The city of Yulin should pay more attention on the space of industry and urban construction, expand the sphere of influence (4) The city of Yulin should strengthen the contacts and cooperation with the surrounding areas, develop business services, modern logistics, technology services and business flows, increase the strength and range of radiation areas, and the city of Yulin will become the regional central city in the border area of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Inner Mongolia and Shanxi Province.
