Research On Methods And Application Of Regional Transport Corridor Layout Planning

The trend in transportation system is the development in effective and unisonous comprehensive transportation system, and the key is the development of transport corridors, which is one of the elements to achieve sound and rapid social and economic development. With the rapid development of urbanization, regional integration has been becoming an objective trend, and town circle, agglomeration, and other emerging areas of megalopolis space form are emerging. But now, the theoretical system of regional transport corridors and the planning approach is not perfect, far behind the objective reality of demand-fast growing. This paper will positive explore the theory of regional transport corridors and the planning method, so as to provide the basis for scientific decision making in the new situation.On the basis of integrated transport system theory, for the purpose of systematic and feasible, the paper studies on the regional transport corridor planning by applying the traffic planning and relative theories. Taking the basic theory of transport corridor as the breakthrough point, this paper defines the content of regional transport corridor and analysis it's characteristics, factors and external environment, then forms a complete understanding of the theory of regional transport corridor. At the bases of analyzing and summarizing the existed layout theory and planning methods, combining of the characteristics of regional transport corridor, this paper combines the theory of node important degree and area location into a new system for the layout of regional transport corridor, and introduces background analysis to improve the primary planning result. The contents of this theory are analyzed in details from three aspects:selection of the nodes and it's important degree calculation, analysis of the location lines, analysis of the big background that impacting regional transport corridors. Taking Jiangsu Province as a case for transport corridor planning, the paper presents a practical application of the planning method.
