Study On The Planning Of Highway Passenger Hub In The Western Area

As an important component of road transport system, highway passenger transport hub plays an extremely significant role in promoting the perfect functions of highway transport system hub as well as the regional development. With the development of the western region process, the western region has made substantial progress in the socio-economic, transport infrastructure has been greatly improved, but it still can not meet the requirements. One of the important factors which lead to the weakness of the western region transportation infrastructure is the low level planning. In order to speed up the construction of road passenger transport hub of the western area and give full play to its integrated transport system in the role, and other transport modes to achieve the coordinated development, to make the layout of the road passenger transport hub more scientific, more rational and more standardized, this article study on the planning of highway passenger hub in the western area. The purpose of this article is to promote the social and economic developing, to enhance the level of regional planning and to achieve the sustainable development of transportation planning.Thus, on the basis of deep analysis of relevant literature, this article studies the planning of passenger transport hub in the western area. The main contents of this dissertation include as follows.1) From the system point of view, the connotation of the highway passenger hub has been defined. From both macro and micro, the author compares analysis of the existing method, and points out its disadvantage.2 ) On the basis of analyzing the economic characteristics of the western area, the characteristics and trends of the highway passenger hub have been described.3 ) The macro-layout stages: firstly, considering the difference between the western region and other regions in the layout of highway passenger transport hub and analyzing the impact of the western highway in accordance with the layout of passenger hub in economic factors, this paper uses the node important degree method to quantitatively determine the number of highway passenger hub; Secondly it uses the system cluster analysis to divide the nodes into different level of alternative nodes; then considering the non-economic factors, it uses the transportation location theory to modify the number and amendment level of the highway passenger hub; at last, it determines the function and scope of services of the hub nodes for connecting the macro layout with micro layout, at the same time, the article studies the distribution of construction funds.4) Micro-layout stages: Considering the characteristics of the western area, it not only puts forward the new ideas of the hub layout, but also builds the model and gives the method of calculation to improve the layout system.5) Finally, a numerical example of inner mongolia highway passenger hub planning is taken to validate the rationality and feasibility of the theory and method.
