In view of the development of our modern urban scale and city scale, more and more cities in China began to build subway to solve the increasingly serious problem of traffic congestion, subway tunnel construction will inevitably lead to ground surface settlement and deformation, excessive ground surface settlement and deformation will also pose an inevitable impact on the normal use and safe operation of surface and underground construction. Lots of domestic and foreign scientists have done a lot of research works and put forward many prediction methods. In this paper, based on the results of previous studies,I have done a lot of work and the results show that:Firstly, after comparing the analysis methods, I decide to select the model of uneven and elliptical change forms of convergence of stochastic medium method, have simplified the method by formularing and assuming, and used a lot of example calculations and engineering examples to validate it.Secondly, the predicted values by the simplified method and the stochastic medium method are in good agreement when the ratio of tunnel depth and diameter is no less than 3.0. As the value of tanβbecomes smaller, the difference becomes smaller.Thirdly, the comparison of engineering example shows that the simplified method of this paper has good reliability and good engineering practicability.Fourthly, this paper briefly analyzed the influence of the five basic calculation parameters to ground surface settlement and deformation which are lead by subway tunnel construction.
