An OpenGL-based three-dimensional visual multi-parameter coupled simulation system for the dynamic pressure distribution of multi-parameter coupling sliding bearings was designed using the technology of Virtual Reality in this paper. Through HCI interaction operation, the three-dimensional dynamic pressure distribution models under any parameters such as rotation speed, viscosity and width-diameter ratio can be displayed in real time.Firstly, based on the scientific suppositions of the sliding bearings, its' micro-element force analysis model was established. Then, the Reynolds equation was set up. And then the one-dimensional and two-dimensional Reynolds equation were solved by using both principle of interpolation polar coordinates and difference method.Secondly, based on the principle of stereoscopic display and OpenGL, both active and passive display model were established. The active one achieved the stereoscopic display by making two drawing-buffers drawing alternately to form two pieces of parallaxes picture in the same viewport but the other by dividing the picture drew by one drawing buffer into two pieces and overlapping projection in two viewports to form to form two pieces of parallaxes pictureFinally, for humanized design, based on VC++, the MFC interface were set up. It accomplished HCI control by integrating the functions of solving Reynolds equation, collecting display list and stereoscopic display.
