The monolithic steel deck plays an important part in the design of high-speed railway tied arch bridge. Traditional railway steel bridges have failed to meet the indexes of high-speed railway such as security of driving comfort level, noise and etc, because of the deck forms which are mainly open deck with its sleeper is lied on the longitudinal and transverse girder. Owing to the advantages of light weight and sexual integrity, the monolithic steel deck gradually has been widely applied with the development of high-speed railway.First of all, this thesis reviewed the development of the domestic and international high-speed railway arch bridge, and summarized the structural style and the mechanical properties of the monolithic steel deck. Also the research status of the calculation method was summarized. According to the characteristics of the monolithic steel deck, we have studied the floor system load passing way, analyzed and discussed the three type load system of tied arch bridge, through the parameters of analysis.Spatial panel-girder element method, shell element and spatial tie simplified calculation method were applied in the mechanical characteristics analysis of the monolithic steel deck, respectively. Comparisons among the three methods had been made, and the optimization of calculation methods had been studied.This thesis introduced the static test on the monolithic steel deck, which including design method, test load, strain and deformation test point arrangement and etc. The mechanic behavior, stress distribution and stress concentration under the condition of dead load of the monolithic steel deck had been studied according to the tests. Stress transfer pathway of every element had been clarified. The rationality and safety of structure were verified by checking static strength of structure. The model of static test was analyzed with finite element method, then the analysis and the test results were compared, and the test results were verified.At last, the model of fatigue test was analyzed with finite element method, then the analysis results and the test results were compared and the tests results were verified. The fatigue test results showed no cracks found after 200w cycles of a test load range and verified the good fatigue behavior of the monolithic steel deck.
