| Fault identification and processing of information depends mainly on testers in the current cable fault diagnosis, and the process is complicated, neither intelligent nor automatic. The principle of the TDR method is introduced with essential characteristics of cable fault, and cable fault auto-ranging is studied according to the deficiencies of traditional cable fault diagnosis system.Main tasks are as follows:1. The current situation and process of cable fault test is summarized in detail, characteristics of cable fault are discussed, and traditional cable fault diagnosis is analyzed based on the extensive literature. So a conclusion is drawn that traditional cable fault diagnosis is unintelligent and non-automatic to a certain extent.2. The TDR method principle is described for the cable fault diagnosis. Automatic test system of cable fault program is studied in conjunction with cable fault information. The design of process and architecture is analyzed including software and hardware modules, algorithms and so on. Key algorithms are auto-ranging algorithm and automatic recognition algorithm.3. Key modules and algorithms validation and analysis are made via experiments according to cable fault automatic test system solutions.The scheme of cable fault automatic test is studied in which some module and algorithm validation is made. Further research work is HVTDR studies and automatic identification and automatic location algorithm optimization and so on. |
