Stick-slip often takes place when pneumatic cylinder moves at low speed. It will affect the cylinder steady motion and severely also cause working error and equipment broken. If stick-slip could be foreseen in different working conditions, it is great significance to guide users to select cylinder correctly and proper working parameters in order to avoiding stick-slip. However, it is labourous and time-consuming to determine stick-slip using traditional tests and identification methods due to the variability of cylinder variety and type. Therefore, the research and development of an automatically testing and identifying system which can automatically test and identify stick-slip, has important academic significance and practical application value.According to this goal, an automatically testing and identifying system of cylinder stick-slip motion is successfully developed for the first time, and some key technologies such as automatically identifying technology of cylinder stick-slip motion, and automatically adjusting technology of working parameters in pneumatic systems are deeply studied in this thesis. Achievements obtained are as follows: (1) General structure of the automatically testing and identifying system of cylinder stick-slip motion is proposed and function modules of the system are put forward by analysis. On this basis, the hardware platform and software platform of the system are built. (2) On the basis of the realization of automatically data collected function, further theoretical research on the key technology of automatically identification-point by point comparison in displacement is carried out. The automatically digital filtering technology is analyzed, and the technical problems of missing rate and misinterpretations caused by noise in the process of data test and collecting are solved, all of which ensure the automatic identification reliability of stick-slip . (3) A constant pressure and variable flow automatically adjusting technology based on proportional flow valve and proportional pressure valve is proposed and continuously automatic adjustment of working parameters in pneumatic systems is realized.The results of extensive experiments on the automatically testing and identifying system of cylinder stick-slip motion show that: the cylinder stick-slip identification results of the system have a good consistency with those of artificial identification, which shows that the system has high reliability. At the same time, the automatically testing system has functions of continuously automatic adjustment of working parameters in pneumatic systems and automatic data acquisition, automatic graphic processing, autosave, etc. The automatically testing system has such characteristics as high performance and high reliability, which can completely replace manual testing.
