Taking a proposed civilian airport project as background, this paper discusses on the research status and construction technology progress of high-fill engineering at home and abroad, it has carried on the analysis and the quality synthetic evaluation to the engineering geological of proposed field. The compaction applicable technology of the foundation treatment and filling body were carried on experimental study, and it has carried numerical analysis on high slope stability of the proposed airport site by the results of preliminary design.This paper first describes the topography of the site area and its geological structure, notes the major adverse geological of the site area and shows the extent of the damage the project; It then partitions the site area by project needs, points out the engineering geological problems in different areas, discusses the deformation regularity of different soil in coequal height filling body, and puts forward reasonable suggestions of builds order on the high embankment project; At last, according to existing theories, the text calculates the stability of the natural slope of the site area in the state of natural moisture content and saturation content(not consider the role of seismic force).By comparing the effect that dynamic, gravel pile and soil pile to meal the original foundation, dynamic consolidation method is regarded as the efficient and feasible method which handles the original foundation with airport in this article. Although the construction technology of vibrating sunken tubes gravel pile is operable and feasible, it exist a lot of construction problems. So, dynamic compaction method is adopted priority as the treatment method of district foundation.The results of compaction filling body test shows that the filling methods including vibration compaction, impact compaction, and vibration compaction combined with impaction and vibration compaction combined with dynamic compaction are operable and feasible. And clearly, for the choice of the kind of construction technology, filling water content is the key factor affecting compaction effect, so it must deal with loss of water of earth materials in the construction process. Besides, the text has given a reasonable compaction proposal for earth embankment of impact on the pavement area high fill lots, test section of the gully site and other sections, and on this basis, established compaction components of stable of high fill pavement areas and slope stability areas and the corresponding foundation standard capacities.In addition, this paper has based on the numerical simulation analysis of ground slope by finite element software and obtained the stability factor of each slope. At the same time, it has began to study preliminary deformation and instability mode of the slope, discussed instability reasons of part of the slope, and on this basis, found possible location of sliding surface of all slope.The results of this study can be used as the basis for design and construction of the airport, one of the research methods can provide a reference for similar projects.
