With the rapid development of national economy, the widely implementing of development of west Regions, More and more constructions of large-scale basic establishment in the northwest region are coming into a prosperous period, the most typical is the airline industry. But it is not same as the middle and east regions, airport construction almost in mountainous areas, face a series of special engineering problems,such as high fill,high slope, complex geological conditions and abnormal climate. So high fill foundation treatment and stability study becomes the key problem of the northwest airport construction.This paper is based on the project of Longnan airport construction, discusses on the research status and construction technology Progress of high-fill engineering at home and abroad, according to the survey and investigation of the special geology, make reasonable design of foundation treatment trials, The compaction applicable technology of the foundation treatment and filling body were carried on experimental study, at last carry out the numerical simulation and analysis. The research mainly includes the following aspects:(1)On the basis of consulting and summarizing the related literature, by discussing the dynamic compaction mechanism of coarse-grained, design field test, according to the survey data, we can know dynamic is a efficient an feasible way for foundation treatment, dynamic compaction should be the first way for foundation treatment of this area.(2)The results of compaction filling body test shows that the filling methods including vibration compaction and vibration compaction combined with dynamic compaction are operable and feasible, And clearly, for the choice of the kind of construction technology,filling water content is the key factor affecting compaction effect, so it must deal with loss of Water of earth materials in the construction Process, compared the test results and treatment effect, make a reasonable suggestions of compaction.(3)A numerical simulation of the entire compaction process will be conducted by Midas/GTS, summarizing the variation law of the physical quantities in each compaction,compared with the field test of dynamic consolidation, judge the accuracy of the simulation results, it indicates the dynamic compaction method in foundation reinforcement treatment is feasible.
