Power quality is a very impotant issue which is related to all the power grid system working on safe,economic,stable and reliable.With continue expanding of development of industrialization,a large of nonlinear, impacting and fluctuating loads came out in power grid system,which enable the power quality seriously decreasing.The analysis and monitoring of parameters of power quality is a essential prerequisite and reliable basis that discovering and improving power quality.This paper based on the presents status of power grid working and power quality monitoring claims performs analyses,through analyzing and researching the advantages and disadvantages of common monitoring algorithm,established a fast Fourier transform algorithm basing on harmonic analysis and improved the applicationg of this algorithm. In the system hardware designs,this article adopt a digital signal processor and a miroc control unit as two cores which are TMS320LF2407A and MPS430F149 both produced by Teaxs Insturments.And combined a hign precision analog-to-digital converter system.In the software algorithm,adopt C language embedding some assembly language to develop the whole system software with core FFT in the Field of Frequency. On the CCS2000 plantform, author compile the DSP system software including main programs and some subprogram and effective solved the timing contrics caused by DSP and MCU.According to the practical requirements of power grid,author design and develop a high precision and powerful monitoring system of power quality simuliking and debugging was held at the laboratory.
