Pit-jacked piles is a new foundation technology which merge the technique of lifting by jacks and the static piling technique together. Pit-jacked piles mainly apled on the reinforcement and reconstruction of exiting buildings, has the advantages of obvious effect, well pertinence and small rally. In recent years, the pit-jacked piles technique is widely used in various types of reinforcement projects.In view of the integrally lifting protection project of Yuhuang Pavilion at Yanqing Taoist Temple in Kaifeng, the civil engineering technology of cutting off water, dewatering, pre-reinforcing the superstructure, rectangular pipe-jacking, preloading and underpinning of pit-jacked piles, integrated lifting, etc. are discussed. The application of pit-jacked piles is mainly discussed and studied, the primary techniques in design and construction of pit-jacked piles are summarized, the construction scheme and the key techniques are analyzed in this article, it will offer reference for similar projects.The mechanism of jacked open-ended piles is studied and the squeezing effect, the time effecttime effecttime effect of bearing capacity and compacting effect of jacked piles are analyzed. Combining the measured data from the project which protects Yuhuangge Pavilion by integrally lifting it, the time effecttime effecttime effect of bearing capacity of jacked piles is mainly analyzed.By the means of analyzing existing experiential formulas, the shortage of the formulas is summarized. Based on the analysis of predecessors'research achievement,the experiential formula is put forward to calculate jacking resistance. By comparing the mechanism of jacked piles and static sounding, the method which calculate the jacking resistance by the data from static sounding is put forward. application. The finite element model is made of ANSYS which is a finite element analysis software,the jacking resistances on different depths are calculated by the displacement penetration method,the jacking resistances are calculated by the sum of vertical reaction at support.By comparing the estimated values on different depths and measured values, the applicability and feasibility of calculating jacking resistances by this finite element method are analyzed to provide reference for engineering application.
