Long-span space structure is developed very rapidly over the past ten years in China . Especially in recent years , with the development of people's living standards ,industry,culture and physical project,the long-span space structure is be used in more and more areas.With the increasing of the span, the structure roof tends to use lightweight materials gradually,which lead these structures sensitive to wind load,therefore the effect of wind loads,especially dynamic wind loads are becoming significant at their design stage.There is a large of various forms for long-span spatial structures.among which grid shell has characteristics of great rigidity,light weight,magnificent structural,and good synthetic technology index.it has became the most widely used form. However,in our country the existing standard is mainly for the wind-loads design of high-rise structure which for long-span rigid structure of wind-induced vibration is still immature.So it is an urgent need of proposing a kind of wind response analysis method suited for it.This paper summarizes the wind loads characteristics of the long-span roof structure,the simulation method of wind load, the analysis method of wind vibration response,which includes the wind tunnel testing,frequency domain method and time domain method,as well as the current research Situation for the wind vibration response analysis of the long-span structure in domestic and abroad.And then introduced the basic theory of AR method and the dynamic time-history theory.Based on the finite element and analysis program ANSYS ,the wind-induced vibration response of a specific single-layer cylindrical shell is analyzed.From the perspective of internal forces and displacements,the effect of the wind loads for the single-layer cylindrical shell is considered.Then compare the equivalent static method with the time history analysis method.Based on the definition of wind induced vibration coefficient of displacement and internal force,inputting the measured wind speed and simulation wind speed,discussed the value of wind load factors for such a cylindrical shell , drawing out the time-history curve of displacement of nodes and internal force.At last consider the affect of the geometric nonlinearity.The results show that the fluctuating part of the wind load can not be ignored,under the action of wind load,it is limited that use the equivalent static analysis method take into account ripple effect,Then,calculated the structural displacement and element force by average wind and fluctuating wind ,The value of wind-induced vibration coefficient is discussed. The results indicate that the wind-induced vibration coefficient is suitably3.0~5.0.in this paper,proved the concept of singularity wind vibration point and gave the location of wind vibration singularity point.if considering the geometric nonlinearity,the wind-induced response is larger than the linear results.This article provides a practical application of wind engineering design and it also fingers out that some research work should be improved and areas in need of further research.
