Wind as a renewable energy, are attracting more and more attention, the studying of wind power technology has become more in-depth and maturity. It is the research focus in the area of The Variable-Speed Constant-Frequency (VSCF) wind energy generation system with Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). This paper mainly researched the related technologies of the rotor-side converter in VSCF wind energy generation system. This paper firstly analyzed the AC-excited generators working principle and mathematical model, and derived the stator flux-oriented vector control strategy in VSCF wind energy generation system that obtained decoupling control active power and reactive power at stator port of DFIG Secondly, it was discussed that the grid-connection control principle of AC-excited generator, and the no-load grid-connection control schemes was put forward based on stator flux-oriented vector control. On the base of traditional vector control, the improving excitation system was established by importing the dynamic change in network voltage. Besides, it was build in MATLAB/SIMULINK that P,Q decoupling control operation model of rotor-side and no-load operation model. On this basis, it designed a experiment platform of 15kW AC excited wind generators, using IPM as pairs of PWM converters, and conducted experiment study of VSCF generation system that achieve on-load operation based on stator flux-oriented. Test results validate the simulation analysis and the correctness and feasibility of control program.
