Along with the gradually improve the quality of human life, Energy consumption has increased significantly, The current conventional energy sources are basically non-renewable energy, Year after year to use makes less and less of its reserves. Due to different countries are in the different geographical position, Their energy reserves are also different, In recent years, War often broke out for the survival of the energy, And the energy consumption will cause environmental pollution, People increasingly expect a green renewable energy. In recent years, people pay more and more attentions to development and utilization of solar, wind and hydro power, And the utilization of wind energy has become a hot research.The article first introduced the present utilization rate of all kinds of energy in our country, It introduction the China’s wind power resource distribution map, And describes the types of wind turbine and commonly methods of power conditioning, There are different wind power generation systems which are composed of different types of generators, Then it analyzed the characteristics and working principle of the doubly-fed induction generator, It deduced the equivalent circuit of the doubly-fed induction generator, It discussed the energy flow relationship of the doubly-fed induction generator, And it established the corresponding mathematical model by using coordinate transformation, It provided a theoretical basis for the follow-up study. According to the operating characteristics of wind turbine to determine utilization’s coefficient Cp of wind energy, It can reflect the efficiency of wind turbine, It given the strategy of maximal wind energy capture of fixed pith wind turbine through the discussion of wind turbines in operation under the different wind area, Stator flux oriented vector control technology is used in the operation control of the doubly-fed induction generator, It could achieve decoupling control of active and reactive power output, and established a model of vector control system of doubly-fed induction generator.Furthermore, The study’s wind power generation system of VSCF used a double PWM converter, The energy can flow in two directions, It introduced the characteristics of double-PWM converter, and the difference of control tasks and control functions of rotor side and grid side converter, grid side converter used the grid voltage oriented vector control technology to control the unity power factor of AC side and DC bus voltage, It designed a mathematical model of grid side converter, It also discussed the working principle and algorithm of SVPWM, Finally, It used the SIMULINK module of MATLAB to establish the simulation model, and set its parameters to simulate the wind power system, then according to the simulation results to verify the theoretical analysis. This article made a detailed study on working principles and control methods of variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed wind power generation system, It has very important realistic significance.
