Spatial structure has been rapidly developed in china recent years, welded hollow spherical joints plate grid structure because of their simple fabrication and construction, excellent performance, better economy ,make the scope and number of applications to the forefront. The fatigue of welded hollow spherical joints plate grid structure under crane hoisted have become the focus of the design problem, with its more widely used in industrial building. But the norms related to steel structure, such as"steel structure norm"(GB 50017-2003),"Design and construction procedure of grid structure"(JGJ 7-91), There are no accurate fatigue calculation methods related to plate grid.Although the theoretical analysis is a shortcut to study the fatigue properties, but because of many factors that affect fatigue, the variety fatigue formulas proposed by domestic and foreign scholars are very different from the fatigue test results, and the fatigue test is generally accepted that is reliable and direct way, so In this paper, based on the fatigue test data, through statistical analyzed the constant amplitude, amplitude fatigue test data of welded hollow spherical joints plate grid structure comprehensively and systematically, established the suitable fatigue practical calculation method of welded hollow spherical joints plate grid structure.Analyzed the uncertainties on the fatigue properties of welded hollow spherical joints plate grid structure. Proposed some recommendations to improve the fatigue performance of grid structure.Through this research and analysis, will provide an important basis for the next revised norms, supplemented clause; also further promote the wide range use of welded hollow spherical joints grid structure. The research results in the paper will supply some references for the modification of"Specification for design and construction of grid structure".
