The Study on Rotating Slender Beam in Cylinder derive from oil drilling project, it is great significance to structural optimization design of sucker rod, drill string and the development of process parameter optimization. Rotating slender beam is abstracted mechanical model from the oil drilling. In this paper, adopted the method combined numerical simulation and experimental, carried out rotating vibration analysis and experimental research on slender beam. First of all, establish experimental device of slender beam, carried out vibration and rotation experiment of slender beam. In the vibration experiment of slender beam, the acceleration changed little, while the axial excitation force reduced significantly. In the rotation experiments of slender beam, the higher speed, the more torsional vibration intense, motion trace scope of slender beam gradually expanded, collision point also increase gradually. Second, according to the nonlinear character of contact set up dynamic three-dimensional finite element analysis model of rotating slender beam, adopting Newmark integration method, established the analysis method of rotating slender beam. Programming transient dynamic analysis software of rotating slender beam according to the theoretical method. Study the effects of different factors such as slenderness ratio, axial force and integral constants on transverse displacement of slender beam , with the smaller of slenderness ratio, the starting time of the displacement of the node at both ends of the slender beam delayed; Transverse displacement amplitude when axial force is 0 N is smaller than that of 200 N; as the integral constant increases, the transverse displacement amplitude is also decrease relatively. Third, established dynamics three-dimensional finite element analysis model of rotating slender beam based on the experimental, and carried out modal analysis, transient dynamic analysis and experimental studies to verify the numerical simulation. In cases of 100r/min, compared the numerical results with experimental results, path, cycle, displacement are in good agreement, verified the correctness of the numerical simulation. Finally, applied the dynamics analysis on rotating slender beam in cylinder to a practical project, it can scientifically describe force-deformation of rotating slender beam, which provide theoretical basis for further study on fluid-solid coupling.
