The revolving equipments are large-scale important equipments which are widely used in the petroleum petrifies, the light industries,the transportation industries and so on. And rolling bearing is one kind of part widely used in rotating machines and is vulnerable to damage.There is approximately 30 percent revolving equipment failure caused by damage of the rolling bearing.Thus,its running state directly influent the situation of the whole machine.Developing fault diagnosis of rolling bearing has great practical significance.Feature extraction is one of the most important and difficult topic in the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing.It is directly related to the accuracy of fault diagnosis and reliability of early fault prediction.A typical rolling bearing fault diagnosis method based on the Walsh transform is proposed in this article,by reading a lot of literatures,more comprehensive understanding in the rolling bearing vibration detection,the status and development trend of fault diagnosis technology.The mechod can extract the failure characteristics of rolling bearings accurately.There are two aspects studied in this paper:First,by the traditional frequency domain analysis methods, that is,simulative and comparative study on Fourier power spectrum,confirmed that Walsh power spectrum has advantage in dealing with sinusoidal signals,noisy signals and mutant signals The sensitivity of the Walsh power spectrum is better than that of Fourier power spectrum in the extraction of weak signal.Noise signal has little effect on Walsh power spectrum.Its ability of anti-noise is stronger than that of Fourier power spectrum.Walsh power spectrum is stronger than Fourier power spectrum in dealing with mutation in the signal.Second,applying Walsh power spectrum and Fourier power spectrum to three kinds of fault vibration data and fault-free vibration data of rolling bearing body, the inner and outer rings.The results show that Walsh power spectrum is more efficient in the identification of rolling body fault signal than that of Fourier power spectrum,the characteristic frequency and characteristic signal are obvious and advantages highlighted.It confirmed that the fault diagnosis method based on Walsh transform, can extract the failure characteristics of fault vibration signals more accurately,which provide a new bearing fault diagnostic methods for rolling bearing faults.
