Because of its merits of high carrying capacity, good crossing capacity,upstanding plasticity and toughness, construction convenience, better economic effect and better foundation adaptability, the concrete filled steel tube (CFST) bow string arch bridge is one of the bridge structures that have broad prospects for development.The construction of the CFST arch bridge is a complicated course, it need to adopt space simulation analysis in order that final shape of the bridge and state of strength meet the designing requirement, and offer rational scientific dates for construction controlling. With the increase of span, the transverse stiffness of the CFST arch bridge is relatively weak, the stability problem arouses more and more bridge engineer's interest. It is necessary to carry on the stability analysis.On the basis of the consulting a number of books about simulation calculaclation of long-span bridge construction,this paper introduce the thoery of space simulation analysis of long-span bridge; take the example of Zhangjiang bridge, a three dimensional finite element model was built with the aid of the finite element software MIDAS,the detailed approch of space simulation analysis of CFST arch bridge is given out, and activation and passivation technology is introduced in the course of modeling for facilitating the stage analysis of construction.The space simulation analysis result indicates:simulation analysis of construction not only describe the whole construction course,response the strength behavior of whole construction cousre,but also confirm the rational state at stage of each construction,offer the middle goal state for constructing and monitoring controlling.Based on summarizing the existing basic analysis theory of stability of arch bridge, A 3-D finite element model of Zhangjiang bridge is built and studied, and some coefficients of stability of different state after the construction are found. On the basis, the influence of different factors such as the arrangement of the wind bracings, loading situations,suspender, the rigidity of the arch ribs is discussed. This paper analyzes the bridge's stability in different situation, and discusses several factors that affect the stability of the CFST arch bridges. Then some conclusions are drawn. It is useful for the guidance and the reference to the readers who engage in bridge design and construction.
