Since the 90s of the 20th century, energy and the environment on human life and the increasing impact of social development, as soon as possible to improve the human environment is growing, for all kinds of electric vehicles stand out, but the density of battery differs from gasoline greatly and far from the required value, resulting in mileage per charge is not enough. In this case, hybrid vehicles mounted. Experts estimate in a short historical stage the fuel cell technology is unlikely a major breakthrough. Electric cars can not completely replace the fuel engine vehicles. And a satisfactory to both sides came into being that devices so-called hybrid car have been developed, this car is the engine and electric motor in a car driving force to do it both types of hybrid power plant has played a continuous long working hours, fuel engine, power good advantage, but also can play a non-polluting electric motor, low noise, the benefits of the two "fought side by side" each other.At this stage, with the increasing development of the automotive industry, increasingly hostile environment and the planet can be a serious shortage of oil development confining automobile industry, and that we need that hybrid cars should have a reasonable structure and optimization of vehicle control strategy, this will ensure that all parts of their power-driven run in high areas, while we can recycle braking energy to reduce fuel consumption and improve emissions performance.Urban buses have fixed roads, fixed-time operation, a relatively stable driving characteristics which is the best platform for hybrid systems and even under specific conditions can institute "one line of a car" strategy. The vehicle control system of the vehicle optimizes fuel consumption and emissions. There are indications that hybrid cars in China to achieve a breakthrough in the industrialization of high-volume are the bus.In this thesis, parallel hybrid bus research is in a typical cycle for urban transit, while in the typical city bus condition, the low speed, bus idling longer brake frequent,fluctuations in power demand range. In this condition, according to the existing bus based on the traditional bus it proposed a parallel hybrid power system design and vehicle design. And on this basis, for the various components of the power system dynamic it did the matching calculation, then the various parts selection and then the entire power system and vehicle for layout, made a better control strategy and to optimize the power system simulation and the parts selection.Combined with computing result of power train drive system, it did the various components on the transmission system (clutch, transmission) selection and also on the vehicle's power drive system for a simple layout. Finally, it gave a rough summary and analysis for the parallel hybrid car vehicle control strategies.
