Shopping mall is the mainstream of today commercial activities'development, is the inevitable outcome of socio-economic development and the improvement of modern life quality. It has brought great changes to the life of human society, it's statu in social life become increasingly important, it has become the most powerful and most adaptable consumer machine. At present, most of the shopping mall's study concluded based on the theory at home and abroad, there is no scientific judgments at Local conditions of urban development in China, cause the actual behavior of shoppers departure from the original design intent.This subject uses the Environmental-Behavior and its related theories, based on the Systematic analysis of the shopping malls concepts, classification and spatial composition, take the major users of large shopping centers-shoppers'need of psychological and behavior as the starting point, take wuhan as the geographical scope of this sdudy, take the three representative and typical shopping centres-Guanggu Pedestrian Street,Shopping Malls, Wanda Shopping Plaza as the sdudy Object.By survey the Shopping crowd, shoppers activities, such as the use of space, identifis the reasons for low utilization of some space, evaluate the main factors which the shoppers interst in diffirent space by questionnaire, and summaries the advantages and the problems or shortcomings of shopping centers'space and environment in Wuhan. On this basis, Investigate shoppers'behavior mode and design requirements that meet the needs of their psychological and behavioral: traffic accessibility, environmental comfort, space oriented and privacy and public in public spaces. Finally, based on theoretical analysis and practical summary,proposes the improvement to the shopping centers'space and environment in Wuhan:provide diversity seating forms and types; create the rich communication space; construct the spaces'experience scene; show the local culture in commercial space; shape the public space naturalization.
