City Park Landscape Ecological Study

With the intensification of pollution in urban area, urban parks have gradually integrated on a road of being ecological. It is a demonstration of ecological trait of the 21century civilization, and meanwhile, a definite trend of modern urban park design in response to the sustainable development. As a new subject, the design of urban park ecological zones became an important component of urban comprehensive parks.In this paper, the concept of urban ecological park, the city park eco-design and development direction of the development process are derived. Tracking the core part in ecological zones design, the meaning of it and how to realize it, we will find the significance of building ecological zones in urban park, as well as how to bring it out within limited space. We will look into the expansion case of Zheshan Park in Wuhuin in this paper. With the analysis of its location, condition, size, and special characters, we will fide out the supposed function of scenic ecological zones, and how to construct a scenic ecological zone which combined the three function: ecology, leisure, and entertainment together with efficient space and environment design.
