Research And Application Of Sealing Technology Of Rotary Air Preheater

The air preheater is one of the important accessory facilities in power plant, the quality of the facility and the leaking air volume of the air preheater will affect the operation of the boiler in security and economy. All the times many research institutions and experts at home and abroad are committed to the research and development of reducing air leakage rate, however, there is no substantial breakthrough in design. The sealing technology works, air leakage factors and problems of the medium-sized power generation enterprises rotary air preheater are introduced in the paper, the working principle of steam turbine shaft seal system is described, the design of block and dredge of turbine shaft seal system is replicated, the reform program of establishing leakage recovery system within air preheater is proposed, the transformation, construction and commissioning process of Weifang's 300MW unit preheater is introduced comprehensively, the analysis and evaluation of effectiveness and efficiency of the transformation is carried out. The actual testing and operation shows that there are many advantages of new idea, less investment, etc, and the value of promotion is high.
