| Distribution network reconfiguration using improved plant growth simulation algorithm is proposed. The algorithm fully considers the intelligent factor in the process of plant growth. It can avoid random mechanism in searching process, which compresses the searching space and reduces the iteration number. At the same time, considering the two indicators of economy and reliability is more suitable for the requirement of distribution network reconfiguration in modern society than considering only one. Firstly, calculating the indicator of reliability, under the premise that the reliability meets the requirement, calculating the indicator of economy, this method reduces the amount of calculating and improves the searching efficiency. According to the characters of distribution network, form the sets of switches that can be opened by basic loops. It can avoid the production of the infeasible solutions, which dramatically reduces the dimension of variable and improves the efficiency of calculation. The results on distribution network show that the improved plant growth simulation algorithm has better search efficiency than other algorithms. |
