This paper focuses on the MATLAB simulation of the asynchronous motor speed regulation system. Firstly, this paper analyzes the conventional control methods, structure and operating mechanism of the asynchronous motor frequency-variable speed regulation technology. Secondly, this paper constructs the MATLAB simulation models of the common-performance V/F control system and the high-performance V/F frequency-variable speed regulation system with torque control function, and then, completes the related simulation. At the same time, this paper provides a detailed analysis of SVPWM, realizes the SVPWM simulation with MATLAB. The results of simulation indicate that the high-performance V/F control method possesses a better low frequency performance. The application of SVPWM reduces the torque fluctuation and the current distortion. Finally, this paper summarizes the general rules for setting up the parameters and choosing the devices of the asynchronous motor speed regulation system based on all those simulation models and results. Furthermore, this paper develops a practical wizard to design the asynchronous motor frequency-variable and speed regulation system, which can provide theoretical and simulation guidance for the engineering design.
