Lightning trip on 220kV and above transmission lines are frequently in Anhui during the year of 2008. Particularly, Jianghuai area accounted the most. Identify the characteristics of lightning and analysis the lightning failure, make practical technical measures are very important. In this paper, the author analyzes the background of the subject, makes the research of lightning protection performance for high voltage transmission line in Jiang-huai area. According to the basic principles of the formation of lightning, as well as the calculation of relevant parameters. And analyses the statistical of lightning trip in Jiang-huai area during 2005~2008. In this paper, lightning faults on typical transmission lines were analyzed, proposed specific methods of lightning protection. The lightning protection performance of a specific line is elaborated. The integrated lightning protection is summarized in this paper. |
