Along with the reducing of the soil resource and the soil management is more and more stricter,the corridor needing of transmission line is more and more scarcer.The double transmission lines on the same tower can not only reduce the corridors,but also increase the transmission ability,and save the investment,it is the certain choice of the power network in the future,so the correlative theories of fault analysis of double transmission lines become the hot topics.In this paper,consideing the actual lines are always not transpositional or uneven transposition,but the traditional decoupling algorithm can not be applicable for uneven transposition lines.So deducing"The method of Mode propagation";and establishing time-domain equation of fault location algorithm based on double-ended electrical quantities;establishing the accurate distributed parameter model which is based on cangxi-huanghua 500kV double transmission lines,and adopting the simulation model of electromechanical-electromagnetic transient, analysing the operating characteristic of double transmission line in different faults of power system,verifying the correctness and validity of algorithm,it is Practical for the project.
