With the increasingly rise of power demand and rapid advancement of science and technology, modern power industries are heading for large-scale, high parameters and full automation. They bring forward higher demand on control quality of control system. It is based on mastering the characteristic of controlled object that the optimal control parameters are confirmed and the suitable system is designed. Because traditional identification algorithm to solve the problems requires the search space is continuous, differentiable and often can not get the global optimal solution and thus proposed the use of an improved real-coded adaptive genetic algorithm for identification of thermal processes. According to this line of thought, the papers developed a application package for identification of thermal processes, and used the scene input and output data to identify the process model which verified the validity of this package. Finally, the papers extend the genetic algorithm identification application in single-variable process to the multi-variable field and give a multi-variable transfer function matrix identification example.
