| For the wind-generator set having numerous and complex parts, and its especial structure, it is a difficult and onerous task to assemble single part to the complete appliance. Inaccurate or unskilled assembly can influence the quality and useful time of the wind-generator set. And its maneuverability can influence the cost and cycle of development of the wind-generator set directly. Therefore, it is necessary to implement virtual assembly in the section of design to find the possible problem existing in the process of design and assembly as early as possible, and then to alter the model of the wind-generator set, thus reducing the cost and cutting down the development cycle.This paper uses the integrated virtual assembly environment(IVAE) exploited by Shanghai Traffic University to research to key technologies of virtual assembly of wind-generator set such as assembly modeling in virtual environment, collision detection and response, expression and handing of assembly's constraints, and assembly process programming separately.This paper uses UG NX to produce the part model and assembly of wind-generator set. In order to gain the model information, the author does preliminary secondary development of UG NX with UG/Open API and VC++, obtaining the model data information such as an assembly tree with hierarchical structure, the part information and the constraint information and so on. Use an integrated model including accurate model, displaying model and collision model to express the part model of wind-generator set, and the result proves the model data information transferred into the virtual environment is accurate and complete, which can meet the needs of real-time display, interaction and collision detection.Finally, it achieves the result that single part assembles into component, and at last the wind rotor, nacelle and tower assembles into the complete set. Some information such as interference, sequence and route from the process of virtual assembly form assembly process can map the virtual assembly of IVAE into the actual assembly, which provides visual reference and basis for actual assembly and maintenance of wind-generator set. |
