For electric forklift trucks having a green energy-saving, high efficiency, and easy operation,in the modern logistics it has been gradually replaced the internal-combustion forklift . Drive system is the core part of the electric forklift, using AC induction motor as the driving source is dominant in the industry. For the control of AC induction motor, the vector control is the best mature way to control motor. But the control effect of vector control depends on the motor parameter.In order to resolve the limitation of rotor flux oriented technology, the paper designs an induction motor parameter off-line identification system. Firstly, the paper analys the theory of identification algorithm, then using MATLAB/Simulink to simulate the identification algorithm; secondly, the paper design the hardware and software which is based on the result of simulating the identification. The method is based on SVPWM for off-line identification though the DC experiments, single-phase experiments and no-load experiment to accomplish; Finally, put the parameter which is identied by system into the rotor flux oriented controller. Then validate the identification parameters. The result show that the motor excitation current and torque current have been decoupled. The motor dynamic response fast, smooth operation, and has good steady-state performance. So, the parameters which is used in the rotor field-oriented vector controller is matched with the real motor parameters. The system achieves the desired functionality.In addition, the paper simulate a parameter identification method which doesn't need no-load test to resolve the limitations of the method used by system. The result show that the method is feasible.
