| Tower-type boiler steel structure is an important form of boiler steel structure, and plays a significant role to ensure the normal and safe operation of boiler equipments in large thermal power plants. This paper takes one tower-type boiler steel structure as the research object and involves following contents:According to domestic and foreign reference, development history of tower-type boiler steel structure in China is reviewed. The research status and some problems in aspects of the static behavior, stability performance and joint mechanical property are introduced, and primary coverage of the paper is confirmed.The three-dimensional structural model is established in terms of the practical project through STAAD-Pro. The structural static capability is calculated, considering various load combination. The results show that the structural strength and stiffness meet the requirements of China current code under the most unfavorable conditions. The analysis method and relevant parameters in this paper can provide reference for the analysis and design of similar structures.Eigenvalue buckling of the structure is analyzed by the use of ANSYS, and buckling modes under various conditions are obtained. On this basis, considering about geometric and material non-linear factors, non-linear stability analysis is carried out.In accordance with the overall structural static calculation, the mechanical behavior of key joints is analyzed by means of ANSYS and finite element method. The results show that the strength of key joints under the most unfavorable conditions meet the requirements of China code, and these joints are safe and reliable for a certain degree of security reserve. By further analysis about the ultimate bearing capacity, the mechanical behavior in the different loading stages, vulnerabilities and failure modes are obtained.In view of problems about weak stiffness and members'large stress of the top layer, the structural optimization scheme is proposed. The analysis and comparison of the results demonstrate that the new scheme is superior to the original design in aspects of overall structure and joints mechanical behavior. The optimization approach can provide reference for the design of similar structures.At the end, the research topics in next phase are briefly discussed. |
