The Study Of Condition Monitoring System For Metro Gear Tramnsmission

Metro is a kind of electric drive vehicle. It realizes energy transformation and transfer by electric transmission. In the operation process, it starts and brakes frequently, besides many corners exist, so its operation condition is very bad. Gear transmission is the key component of metro vehicle. It will produce unstable vibration, and transfer vibration by bogie. Once the gear transmission appears fault, it will be a direct threat to the safe operation of the metro vehicle. Due to concealment installation, complicated structure, difficult to remove, complex fault and limit test conditions, the fault diagnosis of gear transmission is extremely difficult.This topic studies response vibration of gear transmission by analyzing its typical fault, and summarizes its time-frequency characteristics of vibration signal. Then it designs a test, develops a metro gear transmission failure monitoring system and completes fault diagnosis of metro gear transmission.This paper includes: fault diagnosis technology and practical situation analysis investigation of gear transmission; analyzes metro gear transmission operation characteristics typical faults, then studies its relations; analyzes vibration of common faults, the signal characteristics and its formation, modulation mechanism; designs test system; fault diagnosis tests; according to vibration theory analyze vibration results, then achieves effective condition monitoring method.This topic researchs on exploration and development of fault diagnosis and condition monitoring system of metro gear transmission theory will play a positive role in promoting metro gear transmission fault diagnosis, and will provide a simple and effective method.This topic is a science plan project of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation Limited.
