At persent, our country has developed into the largest rail traffic equipment market all over the world. Metro as one of the main transport carriers of a high-capacity public transport, which safe operating related to the safety of the passengers' lives and property directly. Metro gear transmission as one of the most critical components of the metro vehicle system, which is apt to fracture, and it is extremely easy to produce unstable vibration, and which can transfer the vibration through the bogie. In order to achieve online monitoring of the metro gear transmission and use the state-overhaul to replace the repairable time and the faulty time, need to simulate load and operation of metro gear transmission, so we can judge various types of faults and some related research.This paper takes the simulate fault diagnosis test bench for metro gear transmission as the research object and the main content is as follows:1.According to the special working environment and structure characteristics of the gearbox analyzed, and on the body structure design, gear pair design, bearing selection,sealing system design, lubrication system design, and structure form of transmission for analysis.2.Using vibration analysis to analyse gear, bearing, drive shaft and body of fault diagnosis for gear transmission, introduces the common failure modes and their causes, and then analyses the fault mechanism,and detailed introduce gear and bearing fault characteristic frequency.3.Using the closed power flow load to design the fault diagnosis test bench, and optimal assign the sensor measuring point. First use Workbench to carry out the unconstrained modal analysis and get the results of calculating modal analysis, and then use the PolyMax modal parameter identification method to carry out the experimental modal analysis for different response points. Finally contrasts with the finite element modal analysis to complete the optimal placement for the sensor measuring point.4.In the case of the design of the test bench is completed, we first design the operation process for test bench and carry out the running test. Then design a set of reasonable data processing and fault diagnosis method based on the gear and bearing vibration experiment:first make the pretreatment of wavelet packet denoising(WPA) and local characteristic scale decomposition(LCD), and then extract the time domain, frequency domain, wavelet packet energy spectrum, ISC energy moment and other characteristic parameters of the pretreatment signal, and use KPCA(kernel principal component analysis) to conduct the optimization and dimension reduction, and finally use the PSO-LSSVM method for fault diagnosis.
