With continued expanding of the ship electric power system's capacity, the position of the ship electric power system will become more important. The system radial type distribution system with two power station have been unable to meet the needs. At the same time, the power quality requirements of load continuous improvement, This is also pose a challenge to the reliability of power systems. In order to meet these requirement, it need to build the zonal distribution system. The advantages of the zonal distribution system is reduce the cable laying work and the weight and cost for cable. At the same time, cost, size and weight of generator and rectifier equipment will be optimize, vitality of the ships will improve. Furthermore, modular construction of zonal distribution system makes the equipment, installation, commissioning and testing have become easy. Therefore, studing the zonal distribution system is becoming great importance.From the fundamental task of the zonal distribution system, this paper used fieldbus control system based on three-tier architecture as a regional distribution of the overall structure of the monitoring system. Then this parper designed real-time, high reliability, small size, with a field bus interface, and CAN network and monitoring management terminal in the zonal distribution system.Zonal distribution Monitoring terminal used CPLD and ARM as the core of the terminal. CAN interface circuit, LED circuit, memory circuit and control circuit are used for achieving external circuit data conditioning, data acquisition, data processing, data storage, communication, data display and control switches and a series of functional blocks. The article writes up the principles of each module, the hardware design process and functions. Finally, according to experience of hardware design, this paper describes the technical key points with hardware.Software section usingμC/OS-II as a software platform, combined AC synchronous sampling methods and FFT algorithm theoretical, design CAN, storage and other basic drivers to meet the functional requirements. Using Verilog-HDL language completed the frequency detect and A/D Sample-Hold functions, greatly reduces the synchronous sampling error, At the same time, designed real-time and fixed-point FFT algorithm that able to run on the AMR core. In the end, this paper design the zonal distribution Monitoring applications.
