With the increasing of the amount of the China automobile continuously, fuel burning and auto contamination emissions is rising unceasingly.Especially in the aspect of automobile exhaust emissions, it pollute atmosphere environment serious .In recent ten years, in order to alleviate the situation of energy shortage and reduce air pollution, engine researchers have done a lot of useful work. But for a variety of reason, causing the research result is not very markedness. The article base on predecessor's research, proposed that using the non-thermal plasma technology processing automobile exhaust emission pollution, which is a new kind of technology in the field of exhaust treating, And researches to the plasma technology are just the purpose of this paper.Firstly, the article analyses the development and research status of non-thermal plasma, and proposes the scheme which is used non thermal plasma to clean automobile exhaust. Secondly, the mechanism of non-thermal plasma engendered by high voltage pulse is researched by studying the basic theory of discharge, and the process of chemical reaction that the pollution is removed by plasma is analyzed. And then the mechanism of non-thermal plasma purifying contaminative gases of engine is cleared, which establishes a theoretical foundation for non-thermal plasma purifying contaminative gases of engine. Subsequently, according to the actual condition, we design a high voltage pulse non-thermal plasma thread-canister reactor, and then, through extensive research and analysis of the results of the study, we also design the high voltage and pulse power system matching with the purifier.To obtain power supply and gas flux of the thread-canister reactor the most suitable parameters matching, simulative experiments of standard gases are done in normal temperature and normal pressure. Through analyzing of experiment results, we obtain the most suitable parameters matching for the high voltage and pulse power in purifying exhaust emission of engine.In the foundation, we pass simulate automobile exhaust, to the NO+N2+O2 system set up the kinetics model, in which the NO reaction kinetics curve was consistent with the experiment data. Thus the reaction mechanism can be proved to be reasonable. The reaction kinetics of the rest main composition in the two kinds of simulated exhaust was forecasted by the kinetics model. The article also use dynamics model to make the analysis and the forecast to the reaction kinetics of other component in simulated exhaust.
