Power transformer is one of the most important equipment in the power system, the hot spot temperature of transformer winding is the main reason for the winding insulation life, also the main limiting factors in transformer load operation, The thesis basic on the status of research for transformer internal winding temperature field calculation both at home and abroad, conduct work on transformer winding temperature distribution measurement and winding hot spot localization method research.The thesis presents a study on the characteristics of temperature rise with the heat generation and dissipation, which is followed by an analysis of the internal loss principle of the transformer. It also deduces the heating and cooling characteristic equations of winding, iron core and oil as the major components of the transformer, and the characteristic curves are given.Realize pair of internal transformer temperatures distribution measurement on transformer temperatures test rise platform. Fiber-optic temperature sensor and thermocouple measurements were compared with research to verify the thermocouple measurement can meet the requirements. Through various short-circuit current temperature rise test results, the transformer temperature, time, and a high degree of three curves, obtained directly within the thermal region transformer primary winding height of about 83.3%. Calculated cure is smooth, measured must exist in the volatility of 10.9%.Based on the distribution transformer winding temperature, winding hot spot location obtained in the winding from bottom to top height of about 92.1% of the region and explore methods of numerical and actual measurement of the influencing factors.
