With the emergence of the tunnel, tunnel ventilation technology has become an important factors restricting the development of tunnel. The research on tunnel ventilation significant social and economic value. Based on the XiShan highway tunnel in Shanxi Province for engineering specialty, through the physical model test and numerical simulation experiment of xishan optimized design of the tunnel.It firstly introduces the contents of physical model experiment, and analyses the physical model test in its flow length, the Angle of the exhaust air vents shaft and the distance of the two vertical combination wind vebts. Secondly,in order to verify in the physical model test results,this experiment using software, CFDesign in numerical simulation model tests, optimized the flow length,the Angle of the exhaust air vents shaft and the distance of the two vertical combination wind spacing. Through the optimized design,results show that, the length of the flow,the ngle of the exhaust air ventst air vents shaft and the distance of the distance of the two vertical combination wind spacing is optimal in Xishan highway tunnel in Shanxi Province.
