Firstly, this paper introduces the development of the cycloid planetary drive, and the research on the cycloid planetary drive at home and abroad, and all the studies are based on the transmission structure of cycloid gear-pin wheel or conjugate cycloid gears drive, never small tooth on the cycloid gear and pin. This paper tries to establish a new transmission form of cycloid gear planetary which is equivalent to the superposition of two cycloid drives.Secondly, this paper establishes cycloid tooth profile equations based on the complex coordinates which include theoretical and actual profiles of the hypocycloid and epicycloids, and the small cycloid gear tooth profile equation of sinusoid insteading of cycloid is also included. This paper also establishes the equation of curvature and arc length of the tooth profile curve, and plots the theoretical and actual profiles by MATHMATICS.Thirdly, this paper designs the dual-gear form of the small cycloid gear based on the study of the relationship between the theoretical and actual profile arcs of the outer and inner cycloid profiles, for the purpose of pure rolling meshing of tooth profiles, preventing the relative sliding occur.And this paper focuses on the superimpose of tooth on the actual profile, determining the number of teeth of the outer and inner profile, and the number of teeth of the small cycloid gear.Finally, this paper designs each cycloid gear tooth profile and finishes the assembly of the cycloid gear planetary transmission. Also this paper verifies the validity of the research by the assembly of the cycloid gear samples.
