With the trait of power split and movable axis as well as application of inner meshed gear, Planetary Gear transmission has many advantages compared with general fixed axis gear transmission system, such as small capacity, high efficiency, what's more, the motion can be composed or decomposed. So it is used widely as speed-variable device. However, the complex structure, vibration and noise deteriorate the device. Therefore, the research has important theoretical and practical significance as well as engineering application value.The provenance of this theme is Taiwan Leader University Dept. of information Communication. The aim of this research is the dynamic simulation of automobile self-changing planetary gear system.With the bond graph theory, the state equation of the system is developed and dynamic simulation analysis is carried out. The effect on system dynamic property is analyzed via analysis of system parametric variation. At last, with the graph of planetary gear trains, the changing law between the graph and bond graph is studied. And different examples are given to illustrate the law, which can be used as a new theoretical tool to analyze the planetary gear transmissions.Prime study content in the paper is described as following.1. Based on graph theory and the methodology of fundamental circuits for gear trains, the kinematic analysis and calculation efficiency of the planetary gear transmission were introduced.2. With the bond graph theory, five dynamic models of the system and state equation of the system with different combination are developed.3. According to bond graph of system, dynamic simulation analysis of two typical models are carried out using the software MATLAB, and the effect on system dynamic property is analyzed via analysis of system parametric variation.4. Comparing bond graph of system and graph of planetary gear train, the law of the transition between them is studied. And different examples are given to prove the law, which can be used for dynamic analysis of more planetary gear transmissions.
