The Sustainable Development Study Of Interior Decoration Design In The Process Of Intrgration Of Urban And Rural Areas

The construction of integration of urban and rural areas is the new initiative to develop China's economy, and also the only way of building a well-off and harmonious society. During the process of the urbanization which is closely related to the farmers, a new trend of blindly pursuing to the urban interior decoration style has emerged, and causes waste in both design and material. It contradicts to energy-efficient and environment-friendly philosophy in interior decoration design which is proposed by Chinese government. We need to discover a sustainable interior decoration design mode, and at the same time, not to ignore the vast rural areas accounted for more than 60% of our total population whose residing environment and life quality directly reflect to the fundamental quality of the basic construction of urban-rural integration. Therefore, according to different locations, resources and environments, we should explore practical ways of sustainable development which can both improve the wellbeing of Chinese farmers and adapt to the condition of rural China.As the implementation of sustainable development theory and the integration of environmental protection, social development, economic growth and cultural heritage, etc, an all-round comprehensive way of thinking has become a basic principle. The key issue of social sustainable development lays on how to enable people live in a more sustainable development way. The life style, living standard and quality of life of rural people, as well as whether they can live in a sustainable development way are quite significant as their high population percentage.This paper introduces the relationship between people and environment and studies the conditions of sustainable development. It also analyzes the design for sustainability of rural home in the construction of integration of urban and rural areas, by designing and managing the rural lifecycle in the construction of integration of urban and rural areas. The paper proposes some notes in the sustainable interior decoration design, and has a discussion on the right way of interior design in rural China, which is practical, aesthetic, and environmental-friendly, low-power, low capital, and low-pollution.At last, by introducing some research projects and design works related to the lifestyle of rural China that author has taken part in, the proposed work flow and design system has been proved and it can conclude that the design for sustainability of the country interior decoration design beyond the integration of urban and rural areas can be realized and is very important.
